Current Book Favourites

I love reading it's one of my favorite thing to do when I'm just relaxing with a cuppa on a rainy day, I'll read any type of book by any author I don't have a certain type, these are the books I've been reading non stop recently, go buy them!

THE DEFINING DECADE: MEG JAY PHD

The Defining Decade by Meg Jay PHD, I've mentioned this book before as I was half way through it I'm almost at the end now and I can happily say I love it. Meg Jay is a American psychologist who specializes in 20 year old's, I'm 20 in a few weeks and this book is so insightful as to why we do things and the choice we  make. It was so easy to read, being a self help book  I thought it would be full of hard words that I couldn't understand but it's written for anyone. Highly recommend I'd give it a 9/10.

BUSINESS STRIPPED BARE: RICHARD BRANSON

I recently bought this as I was looking for a good business book as I'm looking into creating my own sometime soon, then I thought who else could inspire me as much as Sir Richard Branson! He's a zillinoaire and has his own island. I'm only a few chapters in and love it already. It's not about how he got started but how he creates success with the things he already has as well as tips on how to expand your business and be the best business owner  you can be. I'm really looking forward to reading more. 7/10

BOOK OF FAIRY TALES: ANGELA CARTER

I got this book a while ago after seeing it on Amazon and the reviews sounded good, I'm a huge fan of fairy tales so I thought it would be a good read. It's full of short stories from different parts of the world and it's nothing like a Disney story. This book is full of twisty dark endings for the characters, no Prince charming, it's like an upgrade on normal fairy tales. I'm not really a fan of short stories though and found it hard to get to know the characters, it's good if your looking for a short read. 6/10

Boots haul & Christmas presents

As Christmas is round the corner I needed to get a move on with my present shopping, after a little trip to boots I spent almost £30 on make up and skin care and only bought 2 presents! Here's what I bought.

This is the first present, I love Sanctuary Spa products their really good value for money, I chose this little gift as it will be perfect for any female, it contains little skin products a bubble bath, shower gel and body butter. It's a good price as well not too expensive.

Whilst looking at presents I spotted this from the Boots Botanic s and it's the  Rosewater toning spray, I use this after cleansing my face at the end of the day it's a very lightweight product which just refreshes everything. I noticed after I used it my face was a lot softer almost like velvet to touch, this was under £3.00 so it's really good value for money and I highly recommend.

Dry shampoo is an  essentials product for me as my hair get's greasy really easily especially around the crown of my head and the front where my face touches my hair. This is in the Tropical fragrance and it smells like a mix between pineapples and the beach. It's a really good quality products not too much like talc and it absorbs quickly and doesn't show any white powder in your hair.

I already have the Bourjois bronzer but it's a bit too orange for my pale skin so this is a better one for me it's more browner then my other one but not in an orange way, I used it to contour and it does an excellent job.

This product also contains a highlighter I'm a bit disappointed in this as it's a very light it needs to be build up for it to show, not great if you have really pale skin.

Another Natural Collection lippy! I've been proper into these over the past two months their becoming my everyday choice. The colours are nothing too bright just nice nearly neutrals. This is the shade Rose Bud and it's a nice pink it's a lot lighter then in the picture, it doesn't last that long and I have found myself reapplying after like an hour or so but good for £1.99.

Trying to loose weight #1

I've been trying to loose weight for the longest time for about 4 years so since I was about 15, when I'm activity trying to loose weight I'm on it I'm an all or nothing person and have to be really motivated to not eat bad foods and go the gym which is easier said then done.

For example on a bad day I'll have a 'treat' then think that's it my diets ruined and carry on eating unhealthy foods and think I'll start tomorrow. I've never considered myself obese or really overweight but you know yourself and your body and you know when you don't think you look good.

I'm only 4'11 so I don't need a lot of calories in the day to function during a normal day I think I normally get through 1,000 plus which I really don't like I'd rather be eating less then 1000 to feel in control of what I'm consuming.

I've got a event coming up at the end of November so this is my first log at actively trying to loose weight. I don't think my diet is too bad like I don't eat processed food or food with a high fat content but I know what I should and shouldn't be eating.

Tomorrow is going to my first day of 'healthy eating' I'm going to challenge myself to be as healthy as I can and not buy food on impulse
